CQ Shopfront Opens Its Doors

CQ Shopfront is an 18-month long project that aims to develop and strengthen creative industries in Central Queensland with a focus on visual artists producing commercially viable product ranges. The project is an initiative of The Ideas Distillery.

If you are an artist based in the Banana Shire, Fraser Coast, North Burnett or Bundaberg , Gladstone, Mackay or Rockhampton Regions, please go to the link below to find out more about a project led by The Ideas Distillery in partnership with Flying Arts, Artisan, CQ RASN, Stepping Black, Community Lifestyle Support, Banana Shire Council, Fraser Coast Regional Council, North Burnett Regional Council, Bundaberg Regional Council, Gladstone Regional Council, Mackay Regional Council and Rockhampton Regional Council.

Soon Shelley Pisani from The Ideas Distillery will soon be heading out to these regions to host Meet Ups to explain the project and how Artists and Makers can get engaged in a range of workshops, webinars, Artisan in Residence programs, mentoring and an exhibition!

This project has been supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and CQ RASN. The Regional Arts Services Network is an initiative of the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland. CQUniversity Australia has been appointed as the Central Queensland Provider.
